This limited first edition 2-color letterpress print is part of a 24-print series depicting my hand-lettered covers for Barnes & Noble. The designs were created over the course of 10 years in collaboration with art director Jo Obarowski at Sterling Publications and feature hand-lettered titles with custom illustration and border designs.

Printed by hand on the Vandercook #4 in my Downtown Oakland office. As this is a handmade item, there is some variation in ink density.

Framing Instructions

Nothing beats custom framing, but if you're looking for an economical option for standard-sized frames I highly recommend Opposite Wall’s natural oak frames.

Printed by Hand

The Classic Books collection took the better part of a year to create—each piece was printed by hand on my Vandercook press on my favorite premium letterpress paper, Crane Lettra 110lb in their slightly warm Pearl White colorway. Every print is signed, numbered, and finished with a blind "first edition" stamp.
