LOVE Riso Print
LOVE Riso Print
This 2-color Risograph print in red and fluorescent pink is a perfect gift (or self-gift!). The original artwork appeared (though a bit less swashy) in my gratitude journal Brave, Kind, and Grateful. The print ships unframed, but is shown in an 8.5" x 11" solid natural oak frame from Opposite Wall.

Nothing beats custom framing, but if you're looking for an economical option for standard-sized frames I highly recommend Opposite Wall’s natural oak frames. To best protect your print from sun damage, I recommend replacing the plexi with UV plexi or glass.
I’m also a fan of Well Made Co. oak magnetic hangers. I tested a lot of magnetic hanging options and they were by far the best quality. Magnetic hangers are great for large or odd-sized prints.
Every piece of art begins as a sketch, exploring different layouts and styles. These days I do most of my sketches on an iPad in Procreate.
The final vector artwork is drafted point by point in Adobe Illustrator. I love getting lost in the details and spending hours perfecting curves.
Color separations are made, masters are burned, and the final artwork is printed one color at a time on my SF5130 Risograph duplicator.
Printed on my Riso!
All of my risograph prints are created on my SF5130 Risograph in my Oakland office. I am in love with this machine and am addicted to accumulating new color drums for it!
